Laurie Bushong Lang, a 1980 graduate of Texas A&M University and co-owner of the company, joined Kendall County Abstract in 1991 as a closer and manager. Her knowledge of real estate obtained from working for attorneys allowed her to "hit the ground running."

Mike Lang, a 1976 graduate of Texas A&M University and co-owner of the company, spent most of his business life on the opposite side of the closing table. From 1982 until 1997, Mike was a lending officer with NBC Bank of San Antonio, which is now Bank of America.

Ashlee Pfeiffer, who currently serves as the manager of Kendall County Abstract, joined the company in 2000. A 1997 graduate of San Angelo State University, Ashlee, in addition to managing the company, is an escrow officer and handles numerous closings.

Carey Edwards, who joined Kendall County Abstract Company in 1997, has never known any business but the title industry. Her first job upon graduating from college was the traditional starting point of many title careers, typing commitments and policies.

Tiffany Boerner is a Boerne native and has also been in the title business her entire professional career. She entered the title business in May 1999 as a receptionist at a title company in nearby Fredericksburg and quickly worked her way to escrow assistant.

Bob Martin is a title industry veteran who has spent his entire professional career in the title business. Bob's family was involved in the title business in McAllen, so Bob was introduced to the business while still in high school. Upon graduation, Bob decided this was the career path he wanted to take and has never faltered from that path.
